Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: Book through our website or text/call us at 207-200-1279.
Q: What time are check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is 2 pm or later, and check-out is by 12 noon. If you need an early arrival or late departure, please contact us in advance. We also have a staging area near the gray garage where you can park your rig.
Q: Do I need to check in at an office?
A: No! We do not have an office. When you arrive, go directly to your reserved site.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival are eligible for a refund. View the complete cancellation policy.
Q: Will I be charged the full amount upfront?
A: No. We email a payment link for a deposit, and the remaining balance is charged upon departure.
Q: What is the campground address?
A: 11 Greenlaw’s Park Rd, Stonington, ME 04681. Just follow Rte. 15, it ends in Stonington village.
Q: Do I need to take a ferry to get to the island?
A: No. You’ll cross the Deer Isle Bridge, which carries all sorts of traffic, including commercial traffic.
Q: Do you offer firewood?
A: Yes. Self-serve firewood is available onsite for $1 per piece. Text us at the end of your stay and we’ll add it to your final bill. Or pay with Venmo.
Q: Is laundry available?
A: Yes. Located in the bath house: $3 per wash, $3 per dry. Text us and we’ll add to your bill. Or pay with Venmo.
Q: Do you sell ice?
A: No, we do not have a campground store. Burnt Cove Market grocery store is at the end of Airport Road.
Q: Do you have Wi-Fi?
A: Yes, at the gray garage near the entrance.
Q: What hookups are available for RVs?
A: We provide full hookups, including 50/30/20 amp electric, water, and sewer connections.
Q: Do you have pickleball equipment we can use?
A: Yes, balls and paddles are located in the Wood Shed. First-come, first “serve”!
Q: What kind of wildlife is at or near the campground?
A: Wildlife is part of the experience here on Deer Isle! Campers often spot deer, wild turkeys, foxes, and occasionally even a moose. There have occasionally been signs of a bear as well. As a precaution, we ask all guests to store food securely and dispose of trash properly. A dumpster is located by the gray garage at the entrance.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes! Please follow standard protocols and leash and pick up after your four-legged family member. View our full pet policy.

Q: Do you provide lobster pots?
A: Yes, in the Wood Shed, free of charge.
Q: Are there hiking trails nearby?
A: Yes. There are numerous scenic hiking trails and nature preserves in the Stonington and Deer Isle area. The best place to start is the Island Heritage Trust.
